Smirnoff Dream Weekend 2011

I went to Jamaica for a week last summer. While I was there, my cousin took me to 2 different Dream parties; Yush and Bere Vibes. I had so much fun at those two parties, I just knew I had to come back for the whole thing. Smirnoff Dream Weekend is held in Negril Jamaica during the last weekend in July every year, so is ATI (next year). Dream Weekend is an all inclusive party series that happens over the span of 4 days. Patrons have 2 opitons -- they can purchase wristbands that get you in to every party (which turns out cheaper) or you can pay at the door for each party. My friends and I purchased the all inclusive wristbands. The wristbands also include unlimited food and liquor at each event.

The line up of parties included Flavours, Twisted Spirits, Daydreams White Sands, Yush, Xtreme Wet and Wild, Bere Vibes, and Smirnoff Xclusive. I did not get to go to Flavours or Wet and Wild, but I had the time of my life at every other party. I went with 5 of my girlfriends and we had a ball. We stayed at Hedonism (but we didn't get naked, lol) and we took the Dream Weekend shuttle to all the parties. Even though it rained everyday, it really is a nice experience, something I would definitely recommend. My favorite parties were Yush and Xclusive. Bounty Killer performed at both and Xclusive ended with fireworks. All in all.....FABULOUS!!!

  3. in all honesty, I did not want to stay at Hedo in the 1st place (but that's another story). If you do go to Dream Weekend, which is now Dream Week, I recommend you stay at a hotel further down the strip much closer to all the parties. The shuttle bus was great, they were free so that was good. I didn't enjoy my stay at hedo at all. It was a bunch of old naked people that had their own events at the hotel aside from Dream Weekend. And I wouldn't suggest to waste your money and stay at an all inclusive hotel.

I'll be attending ATI this year in August, so stay tuned for that post!!!

  9. The west end isn't far but you will have to take taxis or shuttle buses back and forth to all the parties. Wristbands have not come out yet so I don't know how much they are.

Please keep me in the loop of your ATI experience!!!

  16. what's the difference btw ATI and Dream? For those who have been to both which one is better?

    ReplyDelete
  17. ATI and Dream are both a series of parties that are usually held during the same weekend. Both are all-inclusive parties stretching over a 4/6 day period. The only difference is the sponsors and the liquor. Dream's main liquor is Smirnoff Vodka and ATI is Appleton Rum. I went to Dream last year and had the time of my life, but this year I'll be at ATI so stay tuned for the comparison
