Herve Leger Fall 2012 NYFW

Yesterday, my sister (@eboni_lace) and I went to the Herve Leger show at Lincoln center. This has been my 5th year volunteering at fashion week, and my sister's first. She is more in to interior design, but I wanted her to experience fashion week with me. Many other volunteers and interns have been there for weeks, but we could both only make it for Saturday because of our schedules during the week. We met a lot of other kids from other cities and other schools that came all the way to New York City to be a part of fashion week. I have always been a huge fan of Herve Leger, and BCBG in general. I volunteered for them in their flagship store near Bryant Park the first year of Fashion's Night Out. A new Herve Leger store even opened up in the Garden State Plaza. The price point is a lot higher than I can spend, but they are always nice to look at. We spent the whole day in the city. We started out in the showroom prepping run-of-show boards, then we all piled in to a van and headed to Lincoln Center. When we got there, we unloaded rolling racks and step-and-repeats off the trucks, and set up each models look complete with shoes and clutch handbags. Once the models were lined up, my sister and I went in the show from the back and watched in the standing area. The video of the show can be found on my youtube channel SweetGirlTV www.youtube.com/NicholeNaomi The collection was amazing as always. In the midst of all the madness, a million pictures were being taken. All in all, my sister and I had a good time.
