It's been forever

It has been forever, but a lot has happened from August 2012 until now. I have been thriving at work and saving towards a huge goal. The natural hair is going well for me, growing very nicely. I have learned so much about myself and about life in the past year.

So let's start with the good news. In March, I bought a condo!!! I am officially a home owner at the age of 27. I had a small "condo warming" get together in May, and my friends and family came over with gifts to celebrate with me. One of my best friends came in from Atlanta for the occasion. I have been in my new place for about 6 weeks now and I must admit....I'm in love!!! I'm just so comfy and peaceful and happy.

I have finally learned what people mean when they say it's important to be comfortable in your own skin. Now I am starting to realize what is really important to me versus what I thought I wanted so badly. I understand the significance of being patient when it comes to what you want in life. Most importantly, I now know what I want most over everything else, and that is to always have everything I need so I'm always content and satisfied. I have learned the importance of time and money management and using it to my advantage. Providing myself with the financial security I need in order to be happy is an amazing feeling; a feeling I have wanted for as long as I can remember.

Now on to the future of Fashion, Finesse, and Flair. You can expect food posts, since I will be cooking a whole lot more. You can expect travel destinations and budget traveling tips. Stay tuned for decorating ideas. You can expect style tips from time to time. Most importantly, you can look forward to my honesty and insight as I go through life on my own. I'm excited, I have so much to look forward to and I have a lot of big plans for my future.
