The Moonshine Jungle Tour

My best friend was at it again when she snagged tickets the Bruno Mars concert at Madison Square Garden. We watched the Superbowl Half Time Show on the phone together, and as soon as Bruno's performance was over, she bought tickets. Now I must admit, Bruno Mars is an amazing performer but it's his band that really brings it home for me. The genuine energy and showmanship is just amazing.

The show was on Monday, July 14th right after work for me. My friend met me in the city for a bite to eat at McDonald's, then off to the show. Pharrell Williams was the opening act for Bruno. His performance was great too. He sang the hooks from all his hits over the years, some I even forgot he produced. His beautiful wife and son were sitting front row, and his dancers were great.

Now about that Bruno......to my surprise, much like the Superbowl, he really knows how to put on a show!!! I loved every second of his performance from song to song. He sang all his hits of course, but some of his intros were other artists hit songs. I danced the whole time in between trying to take pictures and record. He is a very funny, entertaining, energetic performer. His band is almost like they are just having a soul train line at a family barbecue. So genuine, so silly, so much fun. I want to go back again lol it was that  much fun.
